May Slate of Candidates

Ballots drop for the May election in just one week. We have a slate of great candidates, and with a concerted push over the next few weeks, we can get them all elected.

Here's what you can do to help elect our slate:

The most effective path to victory in this election is canvassing. The Neighborhood Leader Program (NLP) of the Deschutes Democrats has organized a project to do lit drops (leaving a packet of candidate literature and the Deschutes Dems slate card) at 5000 Democrat-only doors and the candidates themselves are getting volunteers to do lit drops at 6000 more Dem doors. The packets have been stuffed. Now they need to be delivered.

If you are already a Neighborhood Leader, you can add our slate card to your packets for your lit drop.

If you are not a Neighborhood Leader, you can become one! You do not need to be a registered democrat to be a Neighborhood Leader. Contact Jonathan Davidson at  [email protected]  and then proceed as above.

Either way, you can also do lit drops through the campaigns:
Sat, April 27th 3pm      Ponderosa Park, covered picnic area
Sun, April 28th 3pm     Larkspur Park, covered picnic area
Thurs, May 2nd 3pm    Discovery Park, covered picnic area
Fri, May 3rd 3pm          Ponderosa Park, covered picnic area
Sat, May 4th 3pm         Larkspur Park, covered picnic area
Sun, May 5th 3pm        Discovery Park, covered picnic area

In Redmond:
(a note from school board candidate Liz Goodrich):
"We're gathering on Tuesday and Thursday next week to start lit drops on Dem only doors not covered by the Neighborhood Leaders. 4:30 p.m. if you can make it.

Kids, dogs, everyone is welcome to grab a bag and hit the streets.

Please share this with anyone you know who might want to help my campaign and the parks bond/levy.
